Taco Bell is bringing back the fantabulous Nacho Fries, but this time they doing it up with a fiery twist. Partnering with Portland-based hot sauce company Secret Aardvark, Taco Bell is launching the Secret Aardvark Nacho Fries, available for a limited time starting April 25th.
The Nacho Fries feature the standard crispy taste we all know and love, but drenched in a brand new Serrabanero Ranch Sauce. This sauce is where Secret Aardvark’s expertise comes in. They’ve combined their signature serrano and green habanero peppers with creamy ranch, creating a fiery, zesty kick to complement the fries.
Liz Matthews, Global Food Innovations Officer said in a statement: “We’re thrilled to bring back fan-favorite Nacho Fries for their 11th return, in a whole new way, with an extra flavorful partnership with Secret Aardvark. Secret Aardvark’s dedication to bold flavors and culinary innovation makes them the perfect partner for Taco Bell and our iconic Nacho Fries.”
The Secret Aardvark Nacho Fries will come with all the usual Nacho Fries toppings, including slow-roasted chicken, a three-cheese blend, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, and pico de gallo. The starting price id $4.99.
And if you’re not enticed by all this talk of a Sabbanero Ranch Sauce, the regular Nacho Fries will likely return to the menu after the Secret Aardvark promotion ends. In the meantime, Taco Bell’s Fire Tier Rewards Members should keep an eye on the app on April 23rd for a special “secret” Tuesday Drop related to the new fries.
Taco Bell has been on a new item tear since the ball dropped in Times Square ringing in the New Year. The chain revealed over a dozen new item creations and collaborations during a gathering in Las Vegas that same night.
