According to Levittown Now, a Philadelphian woman’s craving for a Wendy’s Frosty put her and the Frosty on a collision course with fate, this past Monday.
State police reported the incident that resulted in the woman’s Nissan leaving the road and crashing into a tree.
The unlikely cause that prompted the crash left the woman stunned, and she told investigators on the scene the cause, blaming it on her guilty conscience for ordering a Wendy’s Frosty.
Prior to the ordeal, the 29-year-old had hired a personal trainer to help her with her eating habits and implement exercise regimens into her daily routine.
However, the path she found herself on that night…led her directly to the drive-thru window at Wendy’s where she ended up ordering a Frosty.
She told State police that once she had done the deed and acquired the Frosty, she second guessed her choice of purchase and felt an immense amount of guilt.
Her solution was to get rid of the Frosty as soon as possible before any damage could be done.
She said she opened her window to throw the Frosty away and into the night but was met with a gust of wind that careened through the car with such force, that her SUV lost control and left the road.
Her vehicle struck the barrier and then traveled back to the opposite side of the highway where it struck a tree.
She “suffered stomach” pain from the incident but declined medical assistance.
State police reported that they will likely issue a citation to the the 29-year-old for the crash.
No word on if it was a chocolate or vanilla Frosty.
