Burger King is launching a new concept called Have-sies starting October 12th.
No it’s not reinventing the wheel but it is combining two popular sides into one container perhaps to give folks that tarry with indecision…an option to get the best of both worlds.
The chain tested the one part fry, one part onion ring combo item months ago under the name “Fries N’ Rings. The successful test market run earned it a nationwide release after a warm reception was given to the idea.
Burger King said in a press release about the Have-sies:
“Have-sies™ is a combination of the brand’s signature fries and classic onion rings. While Have-sies™ can be enjoyed a la carte in value, small, medium and large sizes, the new offering gives Burger King Guests even more ways to build the perfect combo meal to suit their tastes and satisfy their cravings.”
If you’ve ever ordered fries and recieved one lone, delicious onion ring in the container you might’ve felt regret from not also purchasing the onion rings… this option removes that pang of regret entirely and focuses on a solution.

Burger King has faced some financial issues over the past year with franchisees closing doors, and declaring bankruptcy….perhaps Have-sies is an innovative step in the right direction to drum up some business for the chain, and lead to better pastures.
