The fast-food giant is has new addition coming to the McCrispy Sandwich lineup. Enter: the Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy. And it’s arriving at locations near you, nationwide.
The new McCrispy is officially rolling out on April 17th, for a limited-time only. It will be joining the original McCrispy Sandwich, the Deluxe McCrispy, the Spicy McCrispy, and the Spicy Deluxe McCrispy.
Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy Sandwich
The new sandwich features a buttermilk-dipped, crispy-fried chicken fillet seasoned with a bold Cajun spice blend. Applewood smoked bacon adds a savory layer, while cool and crunchy crinkle-cut pickles provide a refreshing contrast. The star of the show being a creamy Cajun ranch sauce, which will be drizzled on both the top and bottom of a warm, toasted potato bun.
For those who like the special version of new menu items, you’ll find McDonald’s will also offer a Deluxe version of the sandwich. This option includes all the elements of the classic Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy, but with the addition of shredded lettuce and Roma tomatoes for more substantial heft.
This comes at a time when both Popeye’s and Chick-Fil-A are testing their own new chicken sandwiches. The former is launching a new spicy signature sandwich in Nashville, while the latter, a pretzel-bunned chicken sandwich in select locations in Raleigh, NC.
McDonald’s also made a splash in the news recently when they started bringing back their Breakfast Bagel Sandwiches to locations around the country. It looks like the coveted breakfast sandwiches are being reintroduced in phases nationwide.
