Burger King in Japan has launched a massive burger called the 23/’24 T.O.P Burger or to break it down…the One Pounder to welcome in the New Year.
The One Pounder is one of a total of five burgers released in 2023. They’re a special cast of oversized burgers aptly named, The One Pounders. There’s the King Yeti, the Crown Burger, the DX Maxi, the Strong, and the latest T.O.P.

The latest huge burger has four beef patties stacked within it’s confines and an assortment of condiments to back them up.
The burger has layers of alternating beef patties with a five-cheese sauce, Gouda cheese, tomatoes, ketchup, and tomato sauce tucked between each patty.
How much could such a burger be you may ask? Well, along with an oversized build is an oversized price…coming in at 2,090 yen or $14.71 USD which makes it one of the priciest burgers ever launched by Burger King. If not, THE priciest.
Burger King Thailand has come out with some interesting burgers over the past year as well. They had the Real Cheese Burger in what must’ve been a sticky, cloying experience as it contained 20 slices of American cheese. They also put out the Real Pickle Burger…a “burger” consisting of a bun and only mounds of pickles.
The beastly One Pounder is slated to be available for a limited time, and there are currently no plans to take it stateside…yet. If they do, hopefully they can downsize the price!
