KFC is adding two new wraps to its line-up to ring in the New Year with a new set of flavors including Honey BBQ Wraps. The new ones will bring their available wrap variety to a total of five…
The Kentucky Fried Chicken chain currently has the Classic, the Spicy Slaw Chicken Wrap and the Mac & Cheese Wrap on the menu…all of which were introduced last year. To join the three wraps will be the new Honey BBQ, and the Spicy Mac & Cheese Wraps.
A press release detailed their call:
“Last year, KFC was the first to answer fans’ calls for the return of chicken wraps and is delivering yet again by bringing beloved KFC Wraps back with more flavors than ever before.”
New Wrap Flavors
Honey BBQ Wrap: Has an Extra Crispy™ Tender garnished with crunchy pickles, mayo, and a Honey BBQ sauce wrapped inside of a soft flour tortilla.
Spicy Mac & Cheese Wrap: An Extra Crispy™ Tender with a 3-cheese blend, Mac & Cheese, and Spicy mayo tucked inside of a soft flour tortilla.
KFC tested the new Wraps in a limited market in Atlanta during 2022. It was coined the Twister Test Launch, and after about a year of testing, they were finally released last October and November.
The test launch was so named as a throwback to when KFC had wraps on the menu originally under the name Twister Wrap. It wasn’t to last as they ended up changing the name to Kentucky Fried Chicken Wraps this time around.
A new deal is also on the table for customers to buy any two wraps for $5. There also a combo for $8.49 which includes; two Wraps, a medium drink, and Secret Recipe Fries. If you have the KFC app, you can also get one wrap for free when you redeem the offer with a purchase of $1 (for a limited time).
