White Castle is bringing back two tasty options from the past, Sloppy Joe Sliders, and Mac & Cheese Nibblers.

Both have been around since at least 2017, and get trotted out about once a year for their day in the sun. This year both will stay on the menu until February 2024.

The Sloppy Joe Sliders are made with lean ground beef mixed with onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, and a sweet and tangy sauce. Once topped with cheddar cheese, they’re finished off with the standard slider bun. There are three varieties available…the Sloppy Joe, Smoky Joe and Spicy Joe.

The standard Sloppy Joe can be had for $1.19 each while the more flavorful options are a little pricier, standing at $1.49 each. There’s a 6-pack option called the Joe Six-Pack that can be ordered for $6.99. And yes, all varieties can be mixed in the Joe Six-Pack.

The Mac & Cheese Nibblers are reminiscent of a fritter. The Mac & Cheese gets deepfried after a dip in batter and cheddar cheese.

There are three sizes available; a 5-pack for $1.99, 12-pack for $3.99, and a 20-pack for $5.99.

White Castle vice-president Jamie Richardson stated on the messy additions: “There are certainly times when neatness is required, but this is the season when it’s perfectly reasonable to be comforted with all things sloppy.

“Our line-up of Sloppy Joe Sliders strikes the right balance of comfort, flavour and crave-ability.”

Another fast food chain, Burger King just brought back a fried side, in a similar vein, the popular Cheesy Tots. Their limited-run return has many excited to once again be able to order their favorite finger food.
