Gainesville, FL – The woo man wasn’t woo-ing it up during a recent outing at Piesanos Pizzeria in Gainesville where he spent $1500 on a meal, was “highly disrespected” and had what was described as a disagreement with the manager.
The wrestling legend, Ric Flair said that after taking over “20” pictures with staff and customers, he was thrown out of the restaurant because of an issue he had with the manager.
Apparently, the situation began when Flair complained to staff about the kitchen manager because of his unusually long occupation of the bathroom.
From this it can only be surmised that Nature Boy needed to answer his own calling. And when he couldn’t answer the phone, he grew restless enough to become angry and voiced his displeasure.
The staff rallied against Flair, eventually throwing him out for cursing and causing a scene over the alleged bathroom hogging kitchen manager.
A video surfaced of the incident wherein Flair is seen arguing that he wasn’t using foul language (while cursing up a storm about the bathroom manager). And at one point, he offers a female staff member a $1000 tip. The manager then tells Flair he’s cut off from alcohol, asking him to leave when he fails to stop, causing a ruckus.
Flair: “I’m going to give you a thousand dollar tip just to say to him…kiss my ass“.
“What’s your name…job? Nicholas what? Nicholas dickhead.”
Upon leaving, Flair took to X to tweet about the disastrous excursion and being “more disrespected than i ever have been in my life” and that “if you’re looking for a relaxing time in Gainesville at a nice restaurant…Never Visit This Place! WOOOOO!”
Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza released a statement following the ordeal and resulting social media firestorm from fans of Flair: “We have reviewed video of the incident that took place recently at our restaurant. It is clear, our team worked in a professional manner to ensure the safety of guests and staff. We have thanked our team for their professionalism. We are proud of how they responded to this situation using and displaying our team values.”
Flair had been celebrating a night out on the town with friends and family for graduation at the University of Florida.
Was Flair too gussied up to respectfully wait his turn for the bathroom…or was the kitchen manager unfairly taking advantage of the bathroom to the point that customers became uncomfortable?
Unfortunately, we may never know the answer to these questions.
