Youtube star, and Mr Beast Burger owner, Jimmy Donaldson is suing his business partner Virtual Dining Concepts for delivering customers less than stellar burgers, thus hurting his reputation with disgusting burgers, and food.

He filed the suit Monday in NY, stating:

“Unfortunately, however, because Virtual Dining Concepts was more focused on rapidly expanding the business as a way to pitch the virtual restaurant model to other celebrities for it’s own benefit, it was not focused on the quality of the customer experience and products.”

Donaldson has been in a bind for a while now, locked in with a partner who isn’t too concerned with the quality of the brands food.

Accusations of raw meat served by Mr Beast Burger can be found with a little investigating

Last month Mr Beast took to Twitter to voice his discontent in a series of now deleted tweets that stated he wanted to get out of the Mr Beast game. He said:

“the company I partnered with won’t let me stop even though it’s terrible for my brand. Young Beast signed a bad deal. it had become impossible to guarantee the quality of the brand across the over 2,000 restaurants that are selling it.”

The reviews for Mr Beast food have been less than favorable with negative reviews peppering the internet, for the virtual chain, with many noting raw meat, and an overall disgusting experience.

The average Yelp review rates Mr Beast Burger at just two stars. And a lot of this:

Seems like a scam

If I could give this 0 stars believe me I would! The food was utterly disgusting.”

The Beast Burger operates under the ghost kitchen model which seemed like an innovative concept at the time but Donaldson quickly found out that the model couldn’t monitor the quality of the food it was dishing out.

The burgers are available across the country as provided by virtual kitchens, meaning there aren’t any brick and mortar restaurants (there may be a handful) dedicated to the brand. Instead the menu is outsourced through delivery apps partnered with various restaurants that prepare the food on the side of their ‘regular’ business.

The cracks have been forming for a while now, and with the lawsuit being filed…you could say they’re widening into massive gulfs.
