Dominos is experimenting with quite the unique, never-been-done before pizza. The innovative pizza is a 15.7-in wide Cheese Volcano Pizza, It’s slated to erupt in Japan and Taiwan on January 9th. And that’s not all, the eruption is also flowing into other markets that are as of yet, unnamed..
The pizza is actually fashioned using a special dough that’s formed into a depiction of a volcanic eruption in the center of the pie called a “magma crater” which is a cheesy center masquerading as lava. There are a few different versions available for order…Classic Quattro and the Premium Quattro

The versions being are offered in the Classic Quattro and the Premium Quattro both include 4 varieties found in the Quattro Happy, and the Quattro 3 Happy menus. The following includes a list of everything on the Volcano Menu:
Classic Quattro: Tropical, Genovese, American, and Margherita.
Premium Quattro: Chef’s Whimsical Vegetable Special, Giga Meat, Seafood Special, and Korean Short Ribs.
Cheese Volcano Dipping Sauce: A cheese-based sauce sold separately for 799 yen.
Cheese Volcano Potenage: A serving of seasoned potato wedges fries and crispy Chicken nuggets. It also comes with a side of Cheese Volcano Dipping Sauce. It’s listed at 1290 yen.
A bit of a downer is the fact that the Volcano Pizza is not a cheap pie. If you order the Cheese Volcano Classic Quattro for delivery, it comes to 5180 yen or $36.09 USD.
There’s even a “Volcanic song”…Let’s All Eat The Volcano made for a Domino’s commercial to drum up excitement for the creation:
