McDonald’s and Frank’s RedHot Team Up for the “McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot” Chicken Sandwich…McDonald’s and Frank’s RedHot have joined forces to create a fiery new menu item that is said to be their spiciest chicken sandwich creation to date. The “McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot” sandwich will be available starting February 7th, and is a limited-edition collaboration only launching in the UK at this time.
What is the McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot Chicken Sandwich?
The star of the McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot burger is the Frank’s RedHot Mayo which provides the unique flavor for the chicken sandwich. It then gets a crispy chicken patty coated in a special blend of spices, including cayenne pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. It’s then topped with lettuce, onions, Emmental Cheese, creamy Frank’s RedHot mayo, and crispy jalapeños. All of this is finished off with a toasted sesame seed bun.
The Frank’s RedHot Buffalo sauce is presumed to add a tangy sweetness, while the Emmental cheese adds a creamy richness. The Frank’s RedHot mayo is the real star of the show, though. It is creamy and flavorful, with just the right amount of heat. The crispy jalapeños add a nice crunch and an extra burst of spiciness.
