The Trick N’ Treat McFlurry is hitting McDonald’s menu for a limited time for the spooky season festivities.

There’s a drawback though, it’s only available in Canada right now with no plans to take it to the United States or elsewhere.

The Halloween-themed McFlurry is a concoction of hot fudge, and crushed orange Smarties (chocolate coated candies), in a bed of vanilla soft-serve ice cream served in a purple cup with skeleton hands decorating the exterior.

McDonalds Canada posted the news to Twitter/X with the caption:

“Something spooky and sweet has arrived, try the Trick ‘N Treat McFlurry if u dare.”

Also in the mix, nationwide, are the legendary Boo Buckets which have returned in select markets, and will be available until the 31st. A new character joins the ghost, witch, and pumpkin…as the purple vampire bucket.

The Boo Buckets have been a tradition, on-and-off since their inception in the 80’s. A common complaint against the new Boo Buckets, are the cheap 2D lids that the chain implemented instead of the more robust vintage lids from the 80’s and 90’s. A small strike but a strike nonetheless.

Perhaps the most exciting news, depending on who you ask, McDonalds announced the return of the McRib recently which all but broke the internet. The McRib is scheduled to drop on November 1st, and remain on menus for about a month.
