A heated dialogue ensued between Lil Bebe, singer DaniLeigh and Twitter commentators in an intense debate over a half-eaten moldy pastry.
DaniLeigh purchased a seemingly nondescript cheese danish at a Florida based Starbucks. Neither she nor the Starbucks employee who sold her the cheese danish noticed anything amiss with the breakfast treat. But as luck would have it, this was no ordinary danish.
After having partially devoured the scrumptious treat, DaniLeigh, who was in her car – noticed something was off. She put the pieces together and after the shock subsided, she took to social media to raise hell about Starbucks and the gall of the coffee conglomerate to serve her such a mold-infested delight.
DaniLeigh initially tweeted her wrath on Twitter, “So do I sue Starbucks for giving me a mf rotten ass cheese danish ?? having me step out my car throwing up. wtfffffd I’m scarred,” DaniLeigh tweeted.
A Twitter user commented on a picture of the danish that Danileigh had posted, questioning why there were a “minimum of 3 bites” taken out of the pastry. She swiftly clapped back,”Bitch I was not looking at it.”
Starbucks had underestimated the biting intellectual wit of unsuspecting patrons such as DaniLeigh, by selling her the moldy danish and not expecting word to get out.
Her solution is that she should receive free Starbucks for the rest of her life. Because having ingested the moldy danish, is a clear-cut qualifier in her book. If that fails, she will likely take to Twitter again to seek legal counsel for a lawsuit.
The soon-to-be viral tweet took off, and users were going wild over the incident, prompting a firestorm of tweeting and sharing.
After Starbucks got wind of the situation, a representative with Starbucks Cares responded directly to DaniLeighs tweet, thanking her for reaching out and requesting more information.
At this time, we are unsure if DaniLeigh and Starbucks are in talks or negotiating on how to make this right.
It’s anyone’s guess as to what could be happening behind the scenes. My bet? DaniLeigh is clutching her Starbucks receipt for the pastry like she’s got Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket.
