Burger King has made a historical move that potentially solves a dilemma that has plagued it’s patrons for years. Fries n’ Rings, are Burger King’s solution to facing the conundrum of making a choice between an order of fries or an order of onion rings.
Maybe for budgetary reasons or perhaps your desire gets lost in a larger multi-person order where the majority rules for one or the other.
Whichever the case, your indecision gets highlighted every so often when you receive an order of fries that tantalizes you with just one lonely onion ring thrown into the mix. It’s like finding an unexpected lost artifact from antiquity and instead of treating it with care and putting it on display for tourists and historians to enjoy – you pop it in your mouth, and enjoy your good fortune.
It’s a phenomenon and a well-known subject spawning countless meme’s.
The chain has tried everything under the sun, fry-wise…Chicken Fries, Mozzarella Fries, and even Churro Fries so it’s surprising that they’ve waited this long to implement the onion ring and fry collision. It’s a no-brainer.
Fries n’ Rings will still come in a standard fry or onion ring box but will be a combo of both parties purposefully tucked away in matrimonial bliss.
A press release announced Burger King will be testing the Fries N’ Rings in a limited market in Miami and Fort Lauderdale between June 19th and July 20th. Hopefully the push comes to make this combo go nation-wide shortly after the test launch wraps…because frankly, we’ve waited too long for such ingenuity.
