Wendy’s is adding some new fall flavors to its menu starting November 12th. The fast-food chain is introducing several new additions across several categories including a brand new burger, and a returning favorite with upgrades.
Last month, Wendy’s teamed up with Spongebob Squarepants for the 25th anniversary of the animated character.
We saw a new Pineapple Frosty flavor and the fictional Krabby Patty with a secret Krabby Patty sauce come to life as a result of the collaboration.
With the latest limited-time additions coming to a close, the chain already has new material on hand. The news first came from the food influencer, Markie Devo on Instagram who posted a picture of four items; two completely new, and two upgrades to menu staples.
He closed the post with: “This menu goes down at participating Wendy’s locations nationwide on November 12th.”
Wendy’s New Fall Additions
- The Salted Caramel Frosty is a new flavor that replaces the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, which was part of the recent Spongebob Squarepants collaboration. The new Frosty is a classic vanilla Frosty base with a swirl of salted caramel.
- The Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger is a new burger that features a beef patty topped with savory roasted mushrooms, crispy bacon, Muenster cheese, and a creamy garlic spread.
- The Taco Salad is getting an upgrade with a new creamy zesty salsa dressing, fire-roasted corn, and crispy tortilla strips. The original Taco Salad had chili, tortilla chips, sour cream, and salsa.
According to a just released statement from Wendy’s, the chain confirmed all of the aforementioned and said: “Our signature Frosty is getting a cozy twist this fall with rich, salted caramel flavor, offering “a spoonful of warm & cozy comfort in every chilly bite.”
The most exciting addition is going to be the Mushroom Bacon Cheeseburger with the creamy garlic sauce, hands down.
The new menu items will be available at participating Wendy’s locations starting November 12th. And we’ll be there with bells on.
