Kraft is attempting to manifest a partnership with McDonald’s using the famed Big Mac as a base and by putting their idea out into the universe.

Instead of going through the proper corporate channels of floating a collaboration, Kraft is getting new-age-y with it and trying to manifest reality…in a grass roots approach, and by starting a petition of course.

The petition would prompt consumers into doing some of the leg work and making the proposed ‘collab’ a reality by directing them to Wheresthemac.com.

Once visited, anyone can use a bot (or just do it on your own) to tag McDonald’s on Twitter and incite the burger chain to take notice of Kraft’s call to action: @McDonalds #wheresthemac).

Kraft recently sent out a press release to Parade wherein they outlined the idea behind their newly created petition: What’s a Big Mac without the “Mac”?!.

They state that the Big Mac has been missing a “key ingredient” for 55 years and that it “can’t really be called a Big Mac if it doesn’t have Mac on it”.

For years, we’ve seen our fans add Kraft Mac & Cheese to their burgers from the comfort of their homes,” said Christina Brown, Associate Brand Manager at Kraft Heinz. “But why can’t we make it easier for comfort-craving enthusiasts? We believe that the time for change is now, and we are hopeful that America’s most iconic burger, the Big Mac, will start to add the most important mac of all.”

The marrying of a Big Mac with Kraft Mac and Cheese would undoubtedly be a no-brainer. Fans of both McDonald’s and Kraft would fall for the collaboration that would be the pinnacle of a cheese lovers/McD’s fantasy.

Comments on Kraft’s tweet seemed split down the middle however…they either “loved” it or were so disgusted by the idea that they left barf emojis.

Kraft’s hope to enlist the public’s help on making the “biggest, mac-iest collab” come to life, could either be a total bust or such a success that McDonald’s could get down with it and perhaps bringing about the age of the “Mac Attack”.
