Witness “BigDawg Chino” took to Instagram with footage of the incident that he recorded with his phone, captioning it “Lady Shot Over Burger”. He described the scene and what led up to the shooting at the Burger King in Georgia.
After a long wait for their food, a group of customers grew agitated because their order was wrongly fulfilled, and after a second wait for their re-made burgers…is when the trouble started.
A back and forth exchange erupted inside the establishment between the Burger King employees, and agitated customers who had been waiting outside for their food.
As it turns out, two people ended up wielding a gun, one woman inside of Burger King, and then a man outside the establishment pointed the same deadly weapon inside the restaurants door.
“It was really because they took too long with their burger,” said BigDawg Chino.
Chino was interviewed by 11Alive News, and his closing comment on the scene summed up his shock in one sentence:
“I’ve seen a lot of stuff in my life, I’ve never seen nobody want to do something to somebody over a…burger“
Unfortunately tales like this one are all too common in the fast food world…with fights, shootings, and murders transpiring over innocuous hiccups like; someone forgot the cheese on a chicken sandwich or a free chocolate chip cookie was denied resulting in pistols and/or fisticuffs being pulled out to settle the matter.
Thankfully, no one ended up getting shot, and there’s still an ongoing investigation into the incident. Reports didn’t identify the shooters or comment on if anyone had been arrested.
