A tiny Yorkshire terrier put on a mighty display once he realized his owners intended to share his fries. The dog unleashed his inner dragon in a display that had viewers howling.
The video that captured the monstrous reaction from such a small creature was uploaded on TikTok where it absolutely went viral, with over 21 million views.
In what was supposed to be a nice ride back from a morning at church, the family decided to stop at McDonald’s. Once the goods were received the family was on their way again.
Before the fry deathmatch started, the dog can be seen standing in the middle of the car wearing a jolly red shirt.
The trouble started when the dog’s owner, who was sitting in the driver’s seat, reached for the bag of McDonald’s to retrieve his food. What he awakened was definitely on par with a beast.
As if guarding a pot of gold, the dog snapped to with the ferocity of a rabid raccoon. HIs eyes bulged and between barks (yips) he held onto that bag with everything he had, which was apparently a lot.
Jamal Armstead, told Storyful, “As he’s sitting here eating fries, I go to grab the bag to get mine out, and boom, he’s thinking I’m trying to take his.”
The owner tossed the bag about like a hot potato while the dog held on, teeth gnashing at the bag, trying to eat the fries in the process lest anyone else get to them.
People went nuts over the hilarity of the frenzied scene:
“Being well behaved and knowing how bussin some food can be are two different things. When the food be bussin you gotta risk it.”
Even McDonald’s commented on the video:
“me seeing this in the drive thru 👁 👄 👁”.
Many sympathized because there’s just something about those salted, delicious fries and the lengths that one would take to horde every last one.
Even agreeing with the dog that there can be no sharing.
The dog’s reaction is definitely beyond hilarious…until you’re the one who’s coming between him and his fries. Then it’s, game on and hope you don’t draw back a stump.
