The iconic fast-food chain is whipping up a brand new Frosty flavor, and it’s sure to send your taste buds on a tropical vacation. Wendy’s is introducing the Orange Dreamsicle Frosty, a limited-edition treat launching March 13th at participating locations nationwide.
The new Frosty flavor announcement is bittersweet as it replaces the Vanilla Frosty which just made it’s comeback after a period of 8 months. Previously the Vanilla had been replaced by the Peppermint, and the Strawberry Frosty.
Orange Dreamsicle Frosty
The Snackolator dropped the news on his food news Instagram/Twitter account: “Introducing the next limited time only Frosty ‘Orange Dreamsicle’. 🍊🥤,” the caption of an Instagram post shared on Wednesday, Feb. 7, read. “Although no specifics are available for the ingredients, one can only imagine it will contain a vanilla base mixed with orange syrup.”
This isn’t your average dreamsicle copycat. While specific ingredients haven’t been revealed, expect a creamy vanilla base swirled with vibrant orange flavor, reminiscent of the classic popsicle. It’s a perfect way to welcome warmer weather and satisfy your sweet tooth with a refreshing twist on the beloved Frosty.
The announcement sent Wendy’s social media buzzing with excitement as fans are eager to get their hands on the new flavor, reminiscing about childhood creamsicle treats and anticipating a delicious spring surprise. Some speculate the vanilla Frosty might be unavailable while the Dreamsicle reigns supreme, adding to the exclusivity and creating a sense of urgency.
Limited Time Only
So, mark your calendars, Frosty aficionados! The Orange Dreamsicle Frosty is a limited-edition experience, available only while supplies last.
The strategic move by Wendy’s. It capitalizes on the popularity of seasonal flavors and limited-edition offerings, keeping customers engaged and excited. Plus, it taps into the nostalgia associated with classic treats like the creamsicle, creating a familiar yet unique experience. Last summer, Wendy’s released the Strawberry Frosty, striking up a collaboration with rapper T-Pain to promote the new flavor. It looks like the Dreamsicle Frosty will be replacing last summer’s flavor this time around.
