This time it’s Canada’s time to shine with…glaze, that is. Starting January 30th, McDonald’s will be bringing the McRib back to Canadian menu’s for a limited time.

This will be the first time since 2014 that Canadians have had the McRib available at their locations.

This past November, McDonald’s also brought the McRib back to the US for a limited time, select locations.

The McRib Deluxe is an Australian version of the standard McRib

There’s more versions of the McRib than many might be aware of, and it seems each country has their own twist on it. Some of these include, Australia’s McRib Deluxe which became available again in December after an almost four year hiatus. It adds lettuce, tomato, cheese, and a McChicken sauce to the McRib classic.

Then there’s yet another take on the McRib in South Korea called the…Prosperity Burger. This one combines several unique ingredients to create a wild version. It has a hash brown patty, crunchy onions, a black pepper sauce, and uses a sesame seed bun.

It seems Canada is more than shining in the fast food world recently, the country has had the luck with discontinued menu item comebacks. An Arby’s press release recently riled up social media when the chain announced that Potato Cakes would be returning to their Canadian locations. And only Canadian locations. US-based customers weren’t happy with the decision as there’s a huge fanbase in the states for Potato Cakes – with petitions, and dedicated fans of the side dish taking to Arby’s social media everyday to ask for their return.
